How goes it?

No, not mine, although now is the time to get a new car so I can get a CB series plate, as Peter Black pointed out.

Kinja'd!!!

Also, now marks the time of year where we switch from the bagpipe clock to the Mustang clock. Spring weather is good for something, I guess.

Going pretty well, apart from the fact I’m so zoned out here at work that I didn’t even realize it wasn’t morning. Oh, and I have jury duty tomorrow, laundry and math tutoring and tax assistance to do this evening. YAY

I have that same clock, only it’s assorted 60's and 70's Muscle cars. It has a different rev for every hour.

My afternoon is going great! I’m on February vacation right now, and enjoying the beautiful weather we’re having here in Rhode Island today.

Speaking of the 86, I also saw a commercial for it that was really neat. Cool stuff.

Then it’s not the same clock, is it?

Yeah, ours does the revs too. It’s great.

Well, I’m back at work after minor surgery last week. Still a bit sore, but I can manage. Just had the alignment done of my Focus, after I replaced the outer tie rods the Sunday before my surgery. The car sat for a week as I couldn’t drive anywhere, and I can’t lift anything over 5-8 pounds for a few weeks. It sure is nice having a car that tracks straight and doesn’t rattle when it hits a pot hole, of which there are 1,000's in Toledo.

I liked the FRS nose better than the new 86 nose. BRZ still beats both though.

The new 86 isn’t that bad in person. It could use some work, though.

I replaced my motor mounts yesterday and drove to work today with no issues. I’m going to get under and retorque everything but I’m going to call it a smashing success

Nice! Motor mounts are one of those things that you really should make sure are in good shape (*cough* dumb customer *cough*).

Mine were in “OK” shape but after doing new trans mount and bushings as well as the pitch stop it of course brought out how old the engine mounts were so those had to get stiffened up too. All I have to do now is rear diff bushings and my drivetrain mounts and bushings should be like new!
